Morley College London has unveiled its Strategic Plan 2026-30, outlining a vision to expand educational access and boost its contribution to the capital over the next five years.

Building on its established strengths in education, culture, and community engagement, the college aims to play a more significant role in skills development, employer collaboration, and providing Londoners with opportunities for success.
The new Strategic Plan is structured around three core priorities: Exceptional Education, focusing on outstanding teaching and support; Growth, aiming to expand the college’s reach and impact; and Transformation, to ensure the college remains innovative and resilient.
Morley College London offers a wide range of learning opportunities for all ages, including 16-19 study programmes, adult learning, higher education, ESOL, professional development, and specialist creative and vocational training.
The strategy reaffirms Morley’s commitment to opening doors through education, equipping learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for work, further study, and life. Principal and CEO, Susan Bonett, stated, “Education has the power to transform lives, create opportunity and strengthen communities. Morley has been opening doors through learning since 1889, and this strategy sets out how we will build on that legacy over the next five years.”
The plan was launched at an event in the Emma Cons Hall, attended by staff, governors, learners, partners, and stakeholders. It reinforces Morley’s role as an inclusive college dedicated to helping people of all ages develop skills and achieve their ambitions.
Over the coming five years, the college will concentrate on enhancing the learner experience, strengthening partnerships, and increasing its contribution to London’s skills, culture, and communities. As part of this, Morley will introduce a clearer place-based campus identity, renaming its centres as colleges to better connect with local communities while reinforcing their shared identity within Morley College London.
