Local residents Rasik Shah and Sarla Chavda have donated a painting titled 'Wings of Hope' to Northwick Park Hospital's children's oncology unit to provide comfort and strength to young patients.

The donation, made during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, features a special painting commissioned by the couple. They were inspired by the story of American artist Michael Godard's 'Wings of Hope', created after he lost his daughter to cancer.
Having also experienced cancer within their own families, Shah and Chavda commissioned the artwork to offer comfort, strength, and hope to young patients undergoing treatment and their families.
Rasik Shah, a patient at Northwick Park since 1980, facilitated the donation through the hospital's Macmillan advice centre.
